It’s easy to say; how many of us have said to ourselves or others ‘I live with no regrets. Most cannot manage it. The allure of wanting a better past, or perhaps a past absent some or all of the rough times that define us.
Having an absolute and mandatory condition drives us to places we otherwise would have never traveled. The chronic pain thing pretty much dictates a life lived in the moment and according to the “Lemmy” rule as I love to call it.
“Live, love, laugh; f** ’em all and no regrets ever. Life’s too short.”
I just had an epiphany that the freedom of this kind of living is wonderful. Whether a calm channel or rough rapids, my boat is small and can handle it all. Love to you all and Namaste.
