I frequent a few sources for mindfulness and meditation; as a result you become familiar with people who are also into turning inward to meditate while focusing on the present.
There exists a juxtaposition with statements made about an individual in elected office to whom they aren’t necessarily excited about. There, hate and a seething anger are either outwardly expressed or veiled in an attempt to keep up appearances.
I’d like to defer to HH The Dalai Lama on this one. “Anger or hatred is like a fisherman’s hook. It is very important for us to ensure that we are not caught by it.”
Hate is bad business for YOU – for your body, mind and spirit. Bugger the one you don’t like. Instead of ‘acting out’ because you’re unhappy, try compassion. It’s what Tenzin would do.
